BIT Puq Press Base Tamper Head

Built to improve both flavour and consistency, the BIT Puq Press Base Tamper Head replaces the stock head to give you cleaner extraction, better puck preparation and more control over your espresso. The electropolished stainless steel face and refined surface geometry help reduce hydrophobic patches and uneven compression that can degrade crema and sweetness.

Compared to the standard Puq Press head, the BIT version offers sharper edge definition, a more rigid tamping surface and tighter tolerances in its fit. The result is less wobble during tamping, better contact between coffee and basket and fewer dry spots that lead to channelling or over-extraction. If you want your espresso to be more forgiving and flavourful, this swap makes a real difference.

Two variants are available to match your setup: one for Puq Press Mini, and the other for Q1, Q2, M1, M2. Choose the one that’s correct for your set up, and enjoy a tamp that’s smoother, cleaner and more repeatable pull after pull.
