The magic of the Flair Brew Scale lies in its 3 brewing modes:

• Pre-Infusion Mode, where the timer starts on the first drip and stops after you lift the cup - ideal for recipes with significant bloom time. 
• Auto Mode, where the timer starts at the first drips and stops when it senses the lack of any water flow for 2 seconds - designed for slow ramps straight to pressure brewing without preinfusion.
• Manual Mode, which allows you full control over when the timer starts and stops, as well as tare and re-tare as needed - perfect for pourover brewing!
