The Flow-Control 2 restricts the flow of water through the grounds which increases the contact time with the coffee and increases pressure at the brew head to ensure proper extraction time is maintained. This is perfect for users that are able to get a consistent grind size or whose grinder is unable to grind down fine enough for espresso.
